Cameron Campbell, Director

Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
RPEQ, CPEQ

Cameron started his career as an engineer as a fresh 21-year-old straight out of university. He commenced work as a junior engineer with Albem Pty Ltd in civil engineering on the Sunshine Coast, where he worked on bridge construction projects.

He later moved to Crocker and Associates and continued working in civil engineering while pursuing structural engineering. He oversaw the NATA-registered laboratory for soil and concrete testing.

Nine years later, he took a year off and travelled from Alaska to San Diego, working as a farm hand, carpet layer, and furniture removalist along the way. He returned to Crocker and Associates for another two years, went overseas for another year, learned Spanish, worked on an ecotourism farm in Ecuador for a short period and travelled further in Central and South America before then visiting Europe with Anita.

Returning to Australia at the end of 2005, he resettled in Stanthorpe and started his own business, trading as Crecer Consulting, where he undertook civil and structural engineering projects in the Granite Belt, South East Queensland and Central Queensland.

By the end of 2014, he was ready for a change and took on a Senior Engineer role from 2015 to the end of 2019 with EBIS (Engineering Building Investigation Services) at Warana, Sunshine Coast. Here, he worked on residential and commercial building design, including geotechnical and remedial inspections and reporting for the QBCC, as well as design,  inspection, and certification of works. He oversaw and assisted design staff and technicians, mentored junior engineers, liaised with stakeholders, prepared the scope of works and quotations, designed, supervised, inspected and certificated design and constructed works.

In 2020, Cam and his family returned to the Granite Belt, and he started C Consulting Engineers, which provides structural and civil engineering services in the Granite Belt and wider region, including Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Cameron loves achieving workable and cost-effective engineering solutions to designs.
